Holiday Children's Workshop was a great success! Remember to mark your calendars for this event next year.

CRAFTS, COOKIES, AND SANTA, TOO!!!

Young Harris, GA—Saturday, December 13th, the Mountain Arts Association and Brasstown Valley Resort teamed up to sponsor a free Children’s Holiday Workshop for children from surrounding communities. Over 75 children with parents and friends had a wonderful time making gingerbread houses and holiday crafts. Susan Vardeman’s Brasstown Dance Center performed and taught ballet dance steps. Dance volunteers included instructor, Amy Wilson and dancers, Ansley Vardeman, Lindy Hollingshead and Sarina Kurrimbukus. Santa made a special visit to add to the festivities. A special thanks to Chairpersons Melanie Clem and Barb Pittman, co-chairs Jane Edison and Barbara Terrell, and volunteers Susan Annesi, Betty Blair, Barbara Coffman, Jackie De Bell, Amanda Fullerton, Anne Goldhagen, Petie Hodge, Virginia Hunter, Candi Mancini, Judy Southern and Flo Swartz. Additional thanks go to Manager Charles Burton and bakers and other folks at the Brasstown Valley Resort. All helped to make the event a success!
